Frequently asked questions

Everything homeowners ask us before booking a resurfacing job.

Why is your process better?

We have developed the only resurfacing system that uses the latest technology in both the quality of the finished product and the all-important adhesion.

How long will it last?

That has more to do with how the item is treated. Nothing lasts forever, but with some care and common sense a resurfaced item will last well beyond the warranty period.

I've renovated the bathroom but the bath is old. What can you do?

We can resurface your old bath with the Ultraglaze process and leave it looking like new.

Can old cast iron baths be resurfaced?

Yes. We specialise in resurfacing all types of built-in baths, on site.

Can a bath that has been resurfaced before be done again?

Not a problem. We may remove the existing coating if the adhesion is not satisfactory, then repair and resurface the original surface.

Can scratched baths be resurfaced?

Certainly. All scratches are repaired, giving your bath a smooth, polished surface.

Can hand basins and shower bases be resurfaced?

Yes. Almost any part of your bathroom can be resurfaced, in any colour.

Can tiles be resurfaced?

Your tiles can be resurfaced, provided they are structurally sound.

I have a rental property. Can it be done quickly?

Yes. The bath can be repaired, resurfaced, baked and polished all in the same day.

Can the colour of my bath be changed?

You can change the colour of your bath to white, or any other colour of your choice.

I painted my bath myself and it failed. Can it be fixed?

Yes. We remove the tub-and-tile paint from the bath, then proceed with our usual process.

My new acrylic bath was scratched during the renovation. Can it be repaired?

Yes. This is a common problem and one we are often called on to fix.
